Better Buildings and Futures is a multidisciplinary research laboratory at the University of Miami focused on developing better ways to design, construct, and maintain the buildings of tomorrow. We combine engineering, architectural design, computational methods, acoustics, life-cycle assessment, and construction research to address a fundamental challenge: how can we make buildings simultaneously more sustainable, resilient, healthy, and high-performing?
